One would never guess that you could find such wonderful eats inside a community centre of all places and yet that's where we got this incredible Lobster Melt sandwich and Chocolate Lava Cake! Situated inside Christine Sinclair Community Centre is Bastion Coffee + Kitchen. I couldn't believe it when I read that they served a Lobster Melt sandwich, and that it was only $8.95. At that price, what did we have to lose? Wow, this Lobster Melt was no joke! It was affordable and delicious. My husband and I agreed to share a Lobster Melt sandwich with each other, but it only took about two bites at most for him to decide that he wanted to buy another one so that he could have it all to himself! The Chocolate Lava Cake was also quite impressive. It's always so satisfying to see that soft, gooey chocolate centre spilling out when I cut through the middle of a molten lava cake. I have had better Chocolate Lava Cakes than this, but for a $5.95 cake from a community centre cafe, this was really nicely done! Would you come and try out this hidden gem?
